Tashkent, July 18, 2026 – The official presentation ceremony of the 'Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Business Club (UZAZ Business Club)' was successfully held in Tashkent on July 18, 2026, aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, expanding business ties among entrepreneurs, and promoting new partnerships.
The presentation ceremony was attended by representatives of government agencies from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, entrepreneurs, investors, heads of business associations, members of the diplomatic corps, and public figures. The event was assessed as an important platform for strengthening economic ties between the two countries, increasing mutual investment opportunities, and developing direct cooperation between business communities.
Opening the event with welcoming remarks, Elxan Mikayılov, Chairman of the Board of the UzAz Business Club, provided detailed information about the main objectives behind the establishment of the 'Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Business Club (UZAZ Business Club)', the Club's areas of activity, and its plans for the future.
The Club will serve to unite entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan on a single platform, fostering the formation of new partnerships and the systematic development of business ties.

Vüqar Mirzəyev, Executive Director of Networkstan, then took the floor to speak about services offered to foreign entrepreneurs wishing to establish businesses in Uzbekistan, business organisation, mechanisms of cooperation with government agencies, and the opportunities the 'Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Business Club (UZAZ Business Club)' will create for entrepreneurs.
The event also featured addresses by Alisher Shaykhov, representative of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bekzod Erjigitov, representative of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Elvin Ali, representative of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, who shared their views on the development prospects of Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan economic relations, the expansion of cooperation between the private sectors, and the significance of business platforms.
